Advocating for physically and mentally impaired people and supporting senior groups and activities, that's how I "LIVE UNITED." [Dorcelle Haines, JC Penney Catalog] Get dirty this summer on the Blandford Farm! Blandford Nature Center & Mixed Greens now has a fully operational and educational farm led by a group of seven inner-city youth coming from diverse backgrounds. The mission of the farm is to empower youth in becoming leaders and role models in their communities while creating both personal and social change. Volunteer projects on the Farm are available all summer (through August 30th) at Blandford Nature Center & Mixed Greens. Work with the Youth Farm Team on prepping, planting, and harvesting. Projects occur every Saturday, 9am-noon (opportunities may also be available during the week as needed).
